We're supposed to write a new blog explaining how popular culture has shaped our lives. I honestly do believe that culture has affected everyone in about the same way. When dealing with popular culture, I believe it has morphed my way of living. When you look for friends, you look for people who interest you. Do they dress like you? Talk like you? Contain the same interests? Whether it's music or beliefs. When looking back, my friends did dress the part. The world can be blamed for making us the way we are today. My choice of music is indeed due to the damage of popular culture. If the type of music or artists I listen to weren't on tv or fam ous for what they do, I wouldn't give a crap about them or that certain music. I would like to believe otherwise, but you wouldn't know until society changed it around. Considering our generation, popular culture can be blamed for a hand in our time. Society practically shows us what they want to show us. What's cool to wear and what's not, What you should be acting like and so forth and so on. If it wasn't for society don't you think that some of us might be lost?

I agree with you. because of society pop culture has shaped the lives of alot of us. But I believe some people give in a little harder than needed. I don't think it can be totally blamed on society though. It's partly our faught as well for letting it take over us.
I feel the same way about how popular culture can be blamed for a hand in our time. I also agree with the media really showing us how to be, what to wear, etc..But I think that we would be Ok if Pop Culture wasn't a big part of our lives. If people survived in the past the without everything we have today, we definiatly can too!!
I agree that society has a lot to do with how people have shaped their lives. Even when it comes to wanting money and a big house. We see so much on t.v. that we think is good for us that we just go out and do whatever it takes to make a dream come true.
I feel that pop culture has shaped everyones lives in at least some way. I think that we shouldnt have to rely on society to direct our whole lives but, I agree with you that some people might indeed be lost.
